What Happened?? My Scene 6 Became Start Scene [screenshot]

My scene 6 just automatically went as [Start Scene] and can't even replace it.. the original [Start Scene] is still there but can't even rename it or whatever.

 

@Andy was made aware of this on another thread is on the case... But best if you send that bbdoc to support@buildbox.com so @theseanjonathanconnor can get on the case too

 

Thanks as always mr @heathclose, is this a bug from buildbox itself? i put quite a lot of time in this level/world, kinda time wasting on my part if i am to do it again.

 

Yes, as far as I know, you should not be able to put anything before the start scene and if it just appeared there, def. a bug...

 

Yes, this will be fixed and release within the next few days... it's actually already fixed, we are just testing the release.

 

So should i still send my bbdoc to support or wait for the update? otherwise can i still work on that bugged bbdoc file and expect it will be fixed on next update? thanks guys.

 

Duplicate the bugged bbdoc, and continue your work, so if anything went wrong aftermath, at least you still have a clean backup to wait the BB2 update.

The only thing you can do to fix it is Delete all components of scene 6 and copy the contents of START scene to the scene 6.

 

My goodness it happened again, this time on different level/world.. i think it occurs whenever i save my file.. they automatically get jumbled

i did this.. and so i arrange them again.. ok now its all good.. i run the game and it looks fine.. then i saved, went to different world/level then poof! same bug happened. lol its unending

 

installed new update for bb2.. didn't fix this issue.. good job buildbox! lol

 

Are you sure you opened the new version and not the same previous version? You should email support@buildbox.com and also send them your bbdoc.

 

Damm... Had a similar issue but never had it with the Start Scene being re-ordered as well.... Here is the link to the thread for that:

Do you have a sharable version?... Working on a Mac here, could give it a try to be sure the issue is consistent on both platform.

 

nah, i ask my team mate to check on his end he's using mac.. it still consistent even on Mac. sad
