Using BuildBox Offline

Hi @Andy and @TreySmith ,

Is it possible to use BuildBox offline? As long as there is no internet connection BB cannot be launched and sometimes even quits when it is gone in the middle. There is only a tiny little error message:



What is the reason the server is needed btw? Anti piracy measurements?

It's built into the copy protection, but I agree, it's annoying. It would be better if you could simply just not save until you get to an internet connection (or even better, not export). I have no clue how difficult that would be though to update though.

 

Thanks @TreySmith, If it was only with the exporting where you need the connection, it was lot less annoying, so one could work on a game while on a plane for example. Saving your work is very important though, especially that there are few crashes with the current version.

 

Yeah, offline version would be awesome! An this is very unstable version indeed. +1

 

Hello, I do is start "Buildbox" with internet, and suspend or hibernate the PC, "Buildbox" continue to work without internet.
