I have tried going through a couple of tutorials, but I always get to a step where the tutorials do not match the software. Can someone please fix this problem?
Hello, you are right. Most of the tutorials on our YouTube channel are for Buildbox 2. There are some that are for Buildbox 3 as well. The best way to find them is by clicking on the tutorials tab from within the software. There are many great tutorials there and even interactive tutorials. I hope this helps.
or you mean youtube tutorials for buildbox 2 it's old tutorials for BB 2 software you can find BB 3 tutorials in opining screen page
I have looked at the tuts in the program and on the webpage, and they are the same, so the tuts are not up to date for buildbox 3. I started out with the first one, which was Jump Avoidance, and when I get to the defeat part, it is not in the brainbox, so I quit, because I have no idea what to do at this point. I tried another one, and I got to a certain place in the tut, and it didn't match the buildbox 3 version, so I gave up at that point. I don't want to spend hours & hours trying to figure this out, so I quit for now. Unless someone can point me in the right direction or tell me where to download the buildbox version that corresponds to the tuts, I see no reason to continue with this.
I have downloaded Buildbox 2.3.8 but I can't get it to activate using my Buildbox 3 activation code. Is there an activation code that I can use for this version so that I can test it out to see if it matches the tuts?
look there are old tut for first release Buildbox 3 and abslutly you will find parts not match the modern software buildbox 3.1 and now buildbox 3.2 beta release, it's normal and don't worry about that Just get the content out of the video and don't bother with unmatching about defeat part, now it's moved under Action Nodes name ( Defeat )
Thank you for your response and I appreciate it very much. I just don't understand why developers move things around with new updates when the old way was working fine. But I know that is what developers do with software. Thank you again for your help and response.
your welcome, mmmmaybe we can just say that's not moving, it's just all defeated methods gathered in one node look, BrainBox is interconnected parts ( Nodes ) just help beginners to understand how to communicate between nodes, how it works, and of course...as shortcuts for me, I have not used brainbox before, And to be more experienced, use nodes directly, at least... to know what is going on inside objects and editing it easily.
