There is a teleport bug that crashes it if you have "delete input object" checked. Not sure how this made it into production, simple Alpha testing really should have caught this. Also including my workaround until it gets fixed before going live.
So the teteport only works in the same scene it can't jump to the next scene, which is a real pain. Thanks for the work around but I think I will wait for the update. Cheers
On a platformer it seems to work fine with "Delete Input Object" checked. Unchecking "Delete Input Object" basically turns teleport into a cloner (see SKY). If I can't duplicate this I may need you to send a sample file to support... it must be a particular world or character setting.
I also tested across scene boundaries and it seemed OK... but I can see it possibly being a problem. At the moment it's meant to work within the the viewable screen area.
I tried opening the simple game demo, added a teleport (default values), then duplicated it. As soon as the ball touched the first one, crash. Uncheck the "delete input object" and it cloned without crashing. Windows 10.
I think this is a windows problem and it's useless to try the same scene on a Mac, it's different OS. I haven't seen one windows user get the teleport to work in windows. So please use the right OS when testing.
Yea I just tried it on my windows 7 and you are right, its crashing. It beats me how this worked for The Edge - maybe is mac thing and windows thing
