Hi, I've made 50 levels, 10 levels for each segment, they're all arranged as I wanted them (using the scene editor timeline), when the player finishes all 50 levels I've wanted the game to start from the begining (i.e level 1\start) I've made a checkpoint at the end of the 50th level, which sends to the 'next checkpoint' which was located at the first scene. It works great, however, when sending the player back to scene one - his score starts from 0... I guess because the score is 'distance based'. Anyone got a solution? Thanks.
Hi trudnai, thanks for the reply. nope, it's set on 'next level'. the scenes are arranged as follow: *checkpoint*..start...level1...level2...3...4...5...6...7...8...*checkpoint*(goto next checkpoint) and, I guess, as the games score is 'distance based', when the 'next checkpoint' is going back to the start level, so does the score.
I think the first checkpoint should be on the Level 1, not on the Start. At least that is how I tried and works for me.
Just tried what you've suggested, tho' it has it logic - the score count is still starting over (this time just adding the relatively score/distance of the start level)
Do you have a bbdoc file with demonstrating this behavior or a screencast where you explain all the settings and then showing how it behaves?
