Introducing Our New Logo!

We’re proud to announce the launch of our new logo, colors, and font! It’s a completely new look for Buildbox that we believe better matches the transformation we’ve made as a company and as a game engine. You’ll see our new look anywhere we’re out in public, like our website (which also has a sleek new design), Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter; and inside our software.



We were honored to have the help of Ben Loiz Studio with the design process. After going through thousands of different logo ideas, and hundreds of sketches, we couldn’t be happier with the final results. Much like Buildbox, our new logo is original and cutting-edge with a minimalist style reflective of our software’s ease of use.

The new brand colors are red-orange and golden-orange. Both colors are symbolic of creativity, determination, and success, which definitely represents our community of creative, passionate developers who continue to amaze by creating hit games even in these uncertain times. The contemporary ‘B’ letter mark in the logo represents our company name and our community of ‘Boxers’ (Buildbox users) that inspire us daily. We’re so excited to be unveiling this new fresh logo today.

So, Why the New Look?
Since our initial launch back in late 2014, we’ve had the same logo. However, both our software and company have evolved — especially over the past year. We were acquired by AppOnboard, released a free version of Buildbox, and have expanded our software from just 2D to include 3D game development with full animated FBX support coming very soon! So, we felt it was the perfect time for a change in brand identity too. This new sleeker look better matches what we’ve become over the years and our future as we continue to grow. We hope you like our new look. This is just the beginning. We have a lot of exciting things planned for our growing no-code community of creators and Buildbox in 2020. So, stay tuned!
