For those who didn't know, here's a trick to use logic transforms with characters. Insert a physics object and place it behind your character, then connect your character to the physics object. Make sure that the logic transform is set to affect the physic object placed behind character. This trick is extremely helpful if you want your character to teleport in different areas around the game scene or go back and fourth automatically.
A physics object is affected by the world values of the gameplay settings. If you attach it to the character a jump value of 60 for example will not be the same with a physics object attached. The gravity will now affect not only the character but also the physics object. It will slow your character down. It will speed it up when falling etc. The same trick could probably be achieved with a decoration object?
Indeed the physics object will be affected in those ways, but shrinking the physics object can help. Also fixed objects do not work with this trick, so decorations are ruled out.
