I uploaded a new app yesterday, but in the content rating page I said there is scary sounds and a little scary graphics in the game (a platformer game), but on the app content page I said no I don't want to enroll in the designed for families program, because my game is for 13+ and they asked if my store listings would appeal to children, I said yes, now I am totally confused it's been about 18 hours and they didn't send me any notification, I got lost while doing these steps, anyone here have an idea about how these ratings and designed for families work? Did I do something wrong?
No, you didn't do something wrong. Google Play now review games/apps a little longer, 24 hours at a minimum. your game should be approved by now. I have not tried the designed for families as well, so I cannot answer you for this - I think they will require another confirmation on the design for family guidelines.
Thanks for your comment, good news they approved it! I chose 13+ and not in designed for families, and everything went great, but yes as you said it took exactly 23 hours, it's annoying it's taking much longer than before now.
hi @patostar now how long does it take an application on the play store to be accepted? I've been waiting for two days, is there anyone else like me?
Yes sometimes it takes way more than 2 days, it depends on your age rating too, if it's for kids I think it takes more days, that's what I heard. So don't worry, they will review it soon.
