I finally finished my game but it's been rejected by Google. I was hoping someone can help me out, apparently my data safety form is invalid. It's a free game, and there are no in app purchases in the game but i am using Adbox. I'm not exactly sure how to answer the data safety form because i don't know what type of information is shared or collected off the user's device by Buildbox. I spent almost a year on this game and I don't want to give up now that it's done... Can someone help?
There's an issue with your data safty form, please follow up this and resent your app for review: Open Google Play Console App content Data safety => Manage Overview click next Answer the questions (then next): Does your app collect or share any of the required user data types? = yes Is all of the user data collected by your app encrypted in transit? = yes Do you provide a way for users to request that their data is deleted? = yes go to Device or other IDs and check it then next check Device or other IDs and manage it answer the questions Is this data collected, shared, or both? = Collected Is this data processed ephemerally? = yes Is this data required for your app, or can users choose whether it's collected? = Users can choose whether this data is collected Why is this user data collected? = check App functionality then save click next and save and app will review and approved by play store team
I would suggest contacting support for Buildbox, the game engine you mentioned, and asking them for guidance on the form of data security. They should be able to provide you with specific information about what data is collected by their platform and how it is handled. When you have a better understanding of the data collection process, you will be able to answer the survey questions accurately. To take a break, read https://casinosanalyzer.com/casino-bonuses/casinoastral.com reviews of new games and then get back to work. You can also double-check Google's guidelines for data security and privacy. Make sure that you are following all the necessary rules and providing the required information.
