Do A Motor Spin.? It's Not Working..

I am trying to do a motor spin...I add a character button in UI and set action to Motor Spin CW but nothing happens in Game when I tap on it....Why?

motor spin only rotates objects set to wheel.
You need to add an object set to wheel. then connect it to your character then set the wheel speed and torque.

 

Right.....Will try it

 

Its BB1 but the same principles work.

Hey i think I am mistaken ..I dont want this...I want my character to Rotate only 90 Degree once when I tap... Is there anyway I can achieve that? @playsgames6666

 

Rotate the character or just image ?

In UI Game play, Character button - > Rotate left or Rotate right , is not helping you ?

im not to sure what you want.
You just want character to spin when tap, but only 90 degree,
do you want your character to move in any direction as well, or just stay in one place?

So like when I tap 2 times it becomes 180...

just like the Turn mode in Color switch, except it rotates 180 I want to do 90

Noooo. Don't message. Keep posting here. Lol. I'm interested in the solution as well. I have a game idea where I need the character in one place but able to rotate when the user press the screen. The longer he presses the more it rotates. Couldn't find a way to do this.

 

@Christoph I don't know how David did it in color switch mode TURN.....

 

I am shocked that nobody knows how to achieve this?

 

Color Switch is NOT made in Buildbox!

Nope. It is made in Unity. The first 1.0 version was made in Buildbox. It had only the Classic mode.

 

Right....But many of the modes of color switch still utilizes buildbox software.

 

nope Unity, first couple of versions were with build box then switched to unity.
