I am trying to have the character collide with an object and the object take damage. I have assigned health and damage to both the character and the object. The object health is 2 the character damage is 1. When the character collides with the object the taking damage animation plays, but after the animation is completed the object becomes invisible on screen after the first collision (health is now 1). If the character collides with the object for a second time the object becomes visible again and the defeated animation plays, sometimes. I have played around with all of the animations and damage delay. I have also tried connecting the same sprite as a decoration behind the object, on collision, that makes buildbox crash.
