Hi, I'm trying to build an avoidance / racing game with a game direction of -90 (top -> down). My character should automatically move left/right and only change the direction if the user touches my left or right button. Everything works fine, but I need to touch all the time to move the character. I tried to connect my character with an object and to modify this by a transform, but it does not give the desired effect. The character flickers forward and back. Do you have any suggestions or tricks like that might work?
seen like that it's a bit difficult to help you. do you have a sample bbdoc that we can have a look that exhibits this problem?
@netkomm Thanks for your reply. I attached two files. V1 is my basic version with which I always start. And V2 I have added a linked object and two transforms, this is the version which always flickers. I also tried different modifications, e.g. Two buttons which manipulate the game direction. Or a modification with a very low jump and a bouncing underground. But no change has produced the desired result or caused new problems.
@taimoorjavaid45 The blocking works, but the character does not turn around and run the other way. I thought it would be a transform or action required, but I do not get it.
@ThoPel did you mean something like this? https://www.dropbox.com/s/9vrdkl0fbenytt9/topdown.bbdoc?dl=0
@amazingafternoon : I'm looking for a solution how my character makes a 180 degree turn on the left / right edge.
Ah I didn't quite get that, sorry! Dunno if i can help there. If i think of something I will let you know
