Gameplay Type: Around the world. Question 1: How do I change the radius around which the player moves? Thanks
Question 2: Also How would I change direction? Instead of going round counter clockwise Id like to collide with an object or action and go clockwise and vice versa. What has not worked: I created an action and changed the Gameplay Properties: Max Speed -39.999, -39.999 and Game Direction to 90. but no luck. Any help would be appreciated!
Well on the template you can hold shift or cmd for macs and increase the players size and that will do the trick I think there is already a thread about how to do this in greater detail but I couldn't find it.
I've uploaded some images to clarify the questions (they say pictures are worth a thousand words ). @Depuuty Thanks for the reply I held shift (and changed the scale of the player) and it does change the radius which is super cool, but now the player is much larger how would I combat that (to get him back to normal size (seems like a catch 22 but its appreciated!).
@kodagames Instead of changing the size just go into the default animation editor of the character and bring it down (y axis). Also change the collision to the new position and bam
hahaha thats funny @Depuuty Thanks for the help! @brakewind723 Its always a pleasure! Question 1, solved! by 2 fantastic boxers @Depuuty, @brakewind723
@kodagames To change direction, just add an advance move component with with either a button or event collision and have the opposite angular velocity set. Should do the trick
It works... (somewhat), I added an advanced move to the character, changed EVENT to collision (which is an object (affected asset, green cube)). I set angular velocity to -2. Then I did the exact same thing (added advanced move), this time made the affected asset a blue cube and set angular velocity back to 2. It works as long as you jump before colliding, if you don't jump it goes off course (strange?) after collision. I also did a test with buttons and it works perfectly fine with buttons (draw back defeats the purpose of a one button game) Thanks @brakewind723 "YOU THE MAN!" I'll keep working on it
Oh just drop the same character image in the both advance move image slots and adjust the collision @kodagames
