Hi all, this is my first post on the Buildbox Forums. I've been tinkering with Buildbox for a few months and a few days ago i've published my first game on the Play Store, Tchupiki in Bouncyland. It is a platformer game and wanted to be a tribute to classic platformer games from the 80’s and the 90’s, it ended up being something a little different. The game may be played in two modes: “Adventure” and “Challenge”. In the Adventure mode you’ll lead Tchupiki through the 10 levels of Bouncyland jumping around, gathering fruits and diamonds, killing monsters, discovering secret areas, defeating a final boss and enjoying a bonus level. In the Challenge mode you’ll be confronted with an endless game; you have to jump from a platform to another as fast as you can while gathering fruits and killing or avoiding enemies. There are two Challenge modes: in the Easy one the game speed will be normal, which is the same as in the Adventure mode, while in the Turbo mode the game speed will be faster. At the moment Tchupiki in Bouncyland is only available on Android devices (OS version 4.1+), an iOS release is being considered. * Here's a link to the game in the Play Store. * Here’s the FB page, just in case Every comment is highly appreciated! Thanks guys!
@MAC420 Thanks! Let me know what you think about it, thanks! Here's a longer (around 1 minute) gameplay clip i just posted on Youtube.
Hello there. I see a lot of work. However, you cannot be successful with these graphics. You should use better quality and attractive graphics. It must be simple, stylish and clean. Good luck
Of course, thank you @MAC420, i appreciate it! Please don't spare me any criticism, comment or suggestion, it would help me to improve! Tchupiki is my first serious attempt at making something good for mobile platforms, I've published a few shareware games back in time when the word shareware still had a meaning so it's been a while...
Here you go man. Really enjoyed it. Keep on Boxing! https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https://www.facebook.com/MACsBGR/posts/330880240832032&width=500
Hey! Thanks a lot for the review! I'm thinking about publishing Tchupiki on IOS too and maybe add more worlds to the Adventure mode.
Hi guys, i've just released version 1.70, it's a relevant update since it includes three new characters, free diamonds every day and social sharing (OT: even though i still don't understand why sharing game screen or game over screen always result in a black image being shared...). I'm now beginning to work on new worlds and thinking about a nice Mario-style world map, stay tuned!
