@NikRudenko .... why are the shadows in my previewer not a proper shadow but instead just an outline? I'm on MacOS Sierra 10.12.6

No issues with shadows for me. Showing OK in Float iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017) Will test on Macbook tomorrow and report any issues if present.
@Buildbox Surprised to see we haven't received any mail yet regarding BB 3. Just to make sure, everyone has access to BB 3 now or only we are the one with no mail received?
For all that have access to alpha 3 or @NikRudenko is there any way for objects to communicate with each other and change variables on other objects or access other scripts on objects? If so how is this done?

There are people who had a 50% discount when buying MC2. MC2 includes good software, I like "Voxelbox" for example, there are people who like "Soundbox", but all programs can be integrated in the future with BB3, as Adobe Premiere with Affter Effect and Photoshop.
You have some pretty old hardware and OpenGL can be problematic on Macs. You might want to test a build on a mobile device to just be sure it's your computer causing the problem.
It all looks very exciting. I can't wait to give it a play/try when beta goes live. Fingers crossed it is soon, as I am holding out on some games to make right now. Also, will @ZackGriset be bringing us some tutorials at launch?
