    I accidentally saved over unwanted changes, and now I want to see if I have any backups to restore from and to not start over everything from zero.

    @TreySmith please..

    Raise a ticket with support@buildbox.com
    but as you deliberately saved over, I don't think a back up exists :-(

    You could try one of the file undelete apps and see if can pick up anything, but I'm not that hopeful.

    I had a look in the usual places (user/roaming etc.) but I'm not seeing any BB backups at all on my system.

    For the future, I use file versioning as I save my creation (ie adding 002 etc to the filename) and I run a realtime mirroring app to make backups.

    No you can't. Its just like Office when it auto saves, it stores it as temporary file with ~ included in file name in same location as original file but when you click save, it syncs the temp copy to original file and clears the temp saved files.

    I think that is how it works with BBox :oops:

    Uh, ok guys. Sad but it's ok :) Yep, I think I'll be just more accurate and will save "mirrors" of the original files. Thanks for the link!
