Hi all, I am having my 3D animations outsourced, being created in Maya. Currently when I import, the files are very high poly (so I know I have to ask the artist to bring the poly count down). And they appear jagged, they break apart, clearly a size issue. But are there other instructions I can give? Is there a poly count I should ask them to aim for? And what size does (dimensions) should a player character be, roughly? Thanks for the help.
i would like to know how much polys i can use for a game asset, is a weapon ( rifle assault) for first person shooter game, with unreal. My model has now 18K polys i think is to much. I need to know limits for a low polys. 192.168.100.1 192.168.1.1 jpg to pdf
Hey, Buildbox accepts up to 65k Vertices. You want to try and keep your count as low as you can without compromising quality.
