Hello, I'm making this game and looks and is pretty simple. I'm in a predicament on keeping as it is or add more textures etc.. what would you think if you seen this in a game? (Honestly) I`d like to know now as I don't want to make a Ga-billion levels and have to change everything My personal opinion is that it looks clean and simple.
One thing you could add is lighting. It's easy to add and gives the game a whole new feel. Also think about doing multiple colour palettes so each level is different colours. Finally, I would change the characters and enemies. You have slightly different art styles going on here. Other than that, it looks like it could be a cool game. Good luck.
