Hi, with these graphics, how many Atlasses occupies the game? Normally a game must occupy less than 20Mb
The game on store is 16 MB and on device 30 MB. with only two atlases. If you want variation and details on your backgrounds with smaller size break objects to smaller elements so you can mix and match and come up different looks. for example we had the windows on buildings as a separate object as well as the corners, edges and textures so no two buildings looks the same. Also Photoshop is horrible with PNG compression. We reduced the graphics to 50-70% of original size with https://tinypng.com/
Don't use PNG compression. It doesn't help at all as Buildbox copies the images to the atlases which use their own compression. You only lose quality, nothing more. Game looks interesting. It has a console look and feel to it. A trailer would be nice.
Just saw the gameplay trailer, I love the music I think that you need to add some twists to the gameplay to avoid the "yet another runner" impression. you have really good graphics and music, try to invest some time to add some originality to the gamplay too.
Its an endless Runner. Absolutely agree. Simple twist here is you score points by collecting Gems. There are many concepts in this game. Maybe we can take one and expand on it on a new game.
I think that you can add fun stuff by using portals, and also use actions to make your characters look like some vehicules . anyway, the game look fun and the graphics are really awesome
