What is the purpose of the hacker? Does he has some benefit? I don't understand why a simple website is the target for a hacker. You don't have valuable information there or anything else or do you? Update: I found this on a support site: You need to start working your way through these resources: http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_My_site_was_hacked http://wordpress.org/support/topic/268083#post-1065779 http://smackdown.blogsblogsblogs.co...ely-clean-your-hacked-wordpress-installation/ http://ottopress.com/2009/hacked-wordpress-backdoors/ Anything less will probably result in the hacker walking straight back into your site again. I'm not too hot on WP, but… If you're looking for a small blog/site platform, you should check out Typed.com (it's what I work on at Realmac). I use it for my own personal site here: http://dancounsell.com - it's rock solid and you can be up and running in a few minutes. Cheers, Dan
Nice one @dan_counsell, there is something to be said for using a lesser known solution, as a rule of thumb it is almost always less targeted by attackers.
