How Can I Limit The Characters Movement (game Type Default)

I would like my character to only move left and right.
On the Start Level I've moved the gray lines on top and bottom to constrict the players movement however some movement is still happening. Please see image and video.
Any help is appreciated.

 

in the character settings change the max speed to zero, see image attached,
