After an incredible 5-year journey of game creation, learning, and connection, it is with mixed emotions that I share my decision to move on from Buildbox. This platform has been instrumental in shaping my passion for game development, and I am deeply grateful for the tools, insights, and friendships I’ve gained along the way. It’s been an honor to be part of such a creative and inspiring community. However, as the landscape of game development evolves, I feel that Buildbox has shifted focus in ways that no longer align with my aspirations. The emphasis on AI initiatives, while promising, seems to have come at the cost of transparency, robust community support, and core platform advancements like cross-platform (web, console, macOS, and beyond) capabilities that could truly empower creators on a larger scale. I will always cherish the memories, the projects, and the countless lessons learned during my time here.
