Droid4x - Did They Just Shut Down?

I was using Droid4X which works great on Mac to simulate Android devices (www.droid4x.com/) but now I can't install the application anymore because the server is not responsive. Also, when I try to navigate to their webpage it never opens. Anyone knows what happened? And is there an alternative I could use?

 

Don't know, i purchased a samsung 4 second hand for $30.00 for testing. you can get some cheap ones around, especially if you just want it for testing games.

 

That's what I did as well. I bought an HTC One to use just for testing.

 

lol. I just checked and a S4 is still 150USD here. Secondhand. And do BB game run on those old devices?

 

Yea they run awesome, haven't had a problem with anyones games from BB.

My personal phone is a Galaxy S4.

 

I have tested BB games in high to low quality android devices. Apk size under 20/25 mega bytes runs well in medium to high quality android devices. Little lag in low end devices. However, didn't focused on low ended devices. Android is a mess you know.

 

Great! I just got Droid4X back! Could make a backup from my old installation and it works on the new computer. Still going to look for a cheap Android phone. Thanks guys!
