Cross Now

Hi all, i'm Massimiliano from Mashimo Games and i would preset you a short gameplay video of my first game: Cross Now.



Cross Now is an endless crossing game like Crossy Road, where you can swipe in 4 directions to move character, but with minimalistic graphic and power up like magnet and thunder to kill enemy.
Your feedbacks are most appreciated, now I need to find a publisher .

Thats awesome! How were you able to get the character to move and land at the exact line location? Very cool effect and best of luck with this one.

you will do well with this game, but swipe looks very fatiguing... I would consider turning the bottom third into quadrants and seeing if that plays well... swipe games that have to swipe over and over I always bail on because of the fatigue issue

For Project K Studios, the character can move in this way:

1) In the menu setting: gravity = 0 ; time warp = 50/60. Don't add time warp more than 60.

2) In the main menu ui: add characters swipe control.

3)In the game: in the character gameplay settings (max speed, bounce, ecc.) set all to 0. Add an advance move to character and set swipe to Event and mathematical operation to replace. Set linear velocity to 100 (or the distance you want) in all 4 directions (linear velocity x= 100 or -100, y = 100 or -100), and the timeout to a little number, i use 0,05, because is the time of swapping on device.

I hope is clear, if not i upload a video tutorial in the next days, when i finished to contact publisher.

Yes heathclose, you are right, after some lines (up to 100) without rest there is fatigue. I put in the game a "time" power up that block the camera for 5 seconds, so people can rest for a while in the solid lines or can take time to cross. I hope this power up partially resolve the problem.

Wow, I didn't expect to see a new version of Crossy Road which a) is different and b) looks awesome. Nice work and good look getting a big publisher for it. Keep us updated!

Update: I would consider changing the title. Something that has nothing to do with the word "Cross". How about: Transverse! ?

swipe video tutorial would be great, i really can not work it out, i can left and right, but not all 4 directions, I'm a bit slow. LOL
