What is up Team BB :)

Is there any hope that the long standing issue with the copy & paste input boxes will become correctly functional on Mac?

Since BB2.x, perhaps even BB1, when you try and CMD + C / V, you have to hold down command before you highlight the contents of the boxes, which is really annoying to be honest! I assumed it was a small bug that would've been caught but it's still there. Hope this makes sense? No need for a test doc, just highlight a value in any setting / input field for objects with the mouse and press CMD + C to copy :)

Perhaps no-one had raised this before, so I thought I'd better put it on the radar.

I need to copy values from one object to another and Cmd+C would be a lot quicker!

Also have wrote a macro that will copy all object values, and another macro to paste the values, but wont work unless the hotkeys work :(
I have probably 1000+ objects to do :(
Looks like I have some long nights with lots of coffee ahead :)

@Kevin W Do not use mouse to highlight the field, use Cmd+A to "select all" and the Cmd+C will work... Same if you want to overwrite a field, click on the field, Cmd+A to select all and then Cmd+V to paste it over...

It's not so much about having to do one thing or another, it's just a copy and paste thing that always trips me up and a faff that should be easily fixed I'm guessing - thanks guys :)

Ah I see, it cannot be scripted, right? I guess my comments was only valid for @Kevin W and for those struggling with this issue by their own. AppleScript seem to press the command button for every single keystroke even if you do keystroke "ac" using command down so I guess this is not a possible option for you. Hopefully in 2.3 soon :)

Yeah holding the cmd will work, but yes can not be scripted easily.
At moment am having to memorise one value and copy/paste other value.
But script copying all values and pasting all values would have been sweet, and save me loads of time on current project.
To be honest I never noticed the issue till I needed to copy and paste a ton ;)
