Hi boxers! I'm soon starting to develop a 2d game. Currently, I have Buildbox 3, but what's the deal with Buildbox classic? Should I work on the classic when making 2d games, or is the Buildbox 3 all you need? Any thoughts on this?
I honestly don't even know why they sell Buildbox classic. Maybe enough people complained, and they brought it back but is very limiting, and you can do anything you can do in classic on Buildbox 3.
My opinion is very simple. Buildbox Classic is considered to be one of the best no-coding game development software. For several years, games have been created that have millions of downloads and require updating. And that is one of the reasons why it's available all the time. Besides, it is very easy to learn. In BB3 you can also produce 2D games with better possibilities than BB Classic but publishing is not as easy as BB3. First of all, when it comes to advertising revenue.
