I see that a lot of people are selling and offering bbdoc files for others to download and run. In that regards I have a few questions: 1. Is it safe to open a bbdoc from someone you don't trust? Will opening it make it possible to execute any code that runs outside whatever (hopefully) sandboxed Buildbox is using? 2. I suppose that it would be possible to at least include code in bbdoc files that can be executed on whatever device it is run on. Would that be a right assumption? (Unless you really look into the permissions the app asks for you could give others access to pictures, messages, contacts, etc.)
@Andy: Care to comment? Should we regard opening and running a .bbdoc file just like opening a .txt file? Or do we need to take more precautions?
A BBDOC does not contain any executable code. It is a compressed file that contains text and asset files. That said you should always take caution with any computer file that is not from a trusted source.
