Appodeal Integration

Did anyone manage to integrate a game with Appodeal mediation?

Does anybody knows how much better (if any better) would Appodeal be compared to Heyzap? it seems to me that it is the same principle.
"Appodeal sets up an auction among different ad networks to compete against each other for your traffic" - taken from their website.
It is the same thing Heyzap does. So the main question would be: who charges the less commission from doing the network auctioning with other networks?
Also: their integration documents are a nightmare - I just went through them and they are very unfriendly to the reader.

Hey Guys, Appodeal should be ready this week for buidbox, it has ogury too, which serves branded ads.

I hear that Heyzap has their own demand, and they start to prioritize it, while appodeal does actually give impressions to the highest ad price because it doesn't have its own demand, so it's unbiased.

 

I use Appodeal on other engines and I like then, hope it comes to Buildbox too!

 

Right now you would need to set it up as a custom ad. Unfortunately there is only Heyzap available for Video Rewards. I would change to Mopub anytime if I could. Or even Fyber instead of Heyzap. Or Iron Source would be cool too. We definitely need more options for this. We can't relay on only one provider. If - like mentioned above - someone starts to prioritize their own ads then you can lose a lot of money.

 

You can already integrate appodeal in buildbox app for rewarded videos, there is a custom solution and it will require replacing some libs.
