I am trying to create this effect in Buildbox 3D:

Is an edge glow on an object with emission possible in Buildbox 3D? Please keep in mind that I'm not talking about the orange light it casts on the surrounding objects, but the orange glow around the object itself.

I have tried setting the material's incandescence to 1 (the max), and I have added a point light near the object.

I'm trying to make a really beautiful voxel cyberpunk game for the game jam, and this effect (edge glow) is pretty important for the whole look.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hey Alex!

So the answer is no currently unfortunately.

You could put an image that simulates glowing, meaning just an image with transparent yellow (or whichever color), the issue being as soon as you rotate your camera/object, the illusion brakes.

I'll see if maybe we can add this effect in an update in the future ;)

@Sean Buildbox , thanks, I appreciate the answer! I actually thought of that too (using an image as an illusion) and it works well for my purposes because I'm using an orthographic camera that doesn't change its rotation.
