What is the game that got you the most downloads, revenue or just anything in general? (and please share some advice on how you did it)
How To Draw Cars app made in BB. Took it down tho as I had issues with ads loading too fast and Google was complaining. Never got around to fixing it. Had about 50,000 downloads over 6 months....ranked number 2 in its category...made me between $150 - $200 every month.
Oh! sorry that it happened with you man, what if you can reduce those ads? maybe you are having a lot of ads in the game, or try a different ads network and republish the game again
Well, it happens no matter what. Due to the fact it was just menus and low rez images, the app would load super fast causing interstitial to pop up instantly versus loading screen first then ad. No matter what i did i couldn't fix it. I suppose i could maybe load like...a bunch of balls zipping around BEHIND the images to make it load slower. I dunno.
Just a thought, release it as a premium paid app with no ads, probably not the most optimal solution but better than nothing.
Umm.. Since i don't have license to google play i use Aptoide as my game store and my best game made with buildbox is this one: https://com-artenialexa-microbot.en.aptoide.com/?store_name=artenialexa&app_id=35731421
The Google Play license costs only 25$ and is forever. Apple's costs 100$ per year. If you publish on Apptoide, you will not get so many downloads of your game. I think that at least you have to have a Google Play account for the price.
I published only one game so far. The latest one I published is the most successful. (The previous one had 5 downloads) Download it from here: http://and249.itch.io/fnb11
Dream On A Journey Google Play- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.adrogdesigns.dreamon Its on the AppStore as well. Ummm, some how it got featured in New Indie Highlights, on GooglePlay, Didn't get any main big countries, but has just now had over 300,000 downloads. Its not the greatest game i think , but i like it. It is hard, and some really hard puzzling bits in it. But i guess GooglePlay liked it, its different, not a one tap casual game that everyone is making. I personally think the stores are getting sick of the casual one tap games, and could be a reason they are rejecting and removing them. But hey thats just my opinion.
I just released Brighter Fighter today and its my second game that I've published so It's way too early to tell, but my first game (roto strike) quickly got 10k in the first two weeks and was very briefly featured in the UK. It also quickly dropped in downloads and it currently gets on average about 3 downloads a day. So at this point, Roto Strike is my most successful game.
Congratulations. Is this game made by buildbox or anoyheaway? Just played a little time, gameplay seems really good.
