Hello everyone, I do know how to create tutorial screen however i would be appreciated if someone could show me how to show the screen just for the once - as in Mazy Maze game. I do not want to show everytime user runs it, just once at the first load. Is it possible ? Thank you.
All you need to do is just route the game as you would any other. So after the Start UI route to your Tutorial screens consisting of a bunch of UI's and then at the end route back to the first World of your game.
Using a buildbox preset game for an example I put the start button on Interval of 1 then that Menu only showed once for the Game @fanarin Hope that helps
dear AndyG thank you very much for your instant reply. i've uploaded my world below. is it wrong ? it shows the tutorial everytime i press the start button. yenomeerf, please accept my deepest apologies. i could not understand :/
Thank you very much dear yenomeerf but i cannot open due to version issues. I do use 2.3.5, the newest version of buildbox :/
Thanks for sharing. The bbdoc is built from version 2.3.6 Pre-released. https://www.buildbox.com/forum/inde...6-pre-release-with-3rd-party-sdk-hooks.12889/
Thank you yenomeerf. May I ask you something else which is urgent ? My game consists of 15 levels in one world. I set checkpoint for every level. And next scene object for every level. I set my "Play" button in the main menu as "Start checkpoint. The game is working fine if we dont close the app. When we close the app, the game does not save itself. If we dont close, i can continue from the level that i left. That is very annoying :/
anyway you can send a stripped down basic sample bbdoc I can take a look at it. I haven't used checkpoints that much. You could probably get a good info from email support also
