I do not know what he wants to do. If you want to move the character and one object at a time, without removing it, just connect the character to the object. Be careful, do not connect the object to the character.
The "characters" are actually objects, so that the player can interact with them separately...I don't really use a character in the game, but @AaroArts said I would need to have one for the joysticks to work properly. The player should be able to drag any object, but it shouldn't stay connected the the invisible character once the player releases their finger (So only objects the player is CURRENTLY interacting with are moved)
You need to go through some tutorials and make some small games before trying something ambitious. Check out the videos on YouTube, BB and other users have made some great video guides.
This is a small game lol it's extremely simple. BuildBox just doesn't have the right features I need, so I have to make some "hacks" for it I watched the "Make Your Own Game Series" when I got BuildBox, and that helped a lot
Any idea how I can make the objects (With assets attached to them) move across a path? It doesn't move currently...I've set the "affected assets" to objects and all, but that didn't change anything
It does work. Just set the velocity and other values of the path and make sure the object is within the radius of the path.
Can you show us an example of a game with the movement you want? I told him the same thing at the beginning of the Post. http://buildbox.com/forum/index.php?threads/multiple-characters-in-a-single-scene.11607/#post-61900
