Hey everyone. So recently, I've really felt like I've been stuck in a creative rut. I haven't had many (if any) good game ideas. Stuff I was working on ended up changing dramatically, concepts weren't working out, and even small tests I was doing were looking pretty poop. This is all since I took a holiday. And for some reason it's been quite difficult to get back into the swing of things. Anywho, It got to a point where I just wanted to get a game of some description out. But not one I thought was bad, or thrown together, and not one that wasn't some what polished as us BB'ers like to call it. So this is where this game comes in. It's probably the smallest game I have ever made, and contains the least amount of functionality or features. But I think it gives it the minimalist vibe and I actually really like how it turned out. I've also used a few BB features I haven't before, like trails, particle effects and the screenshot function etc. and I think it's these small details, the minimal design and surprisingly difficult gameplay that makes it a nice little game. I personally feel like I needed to make a small game like this, just to remind myself that it's worth my time I hope you all enjoy it. I apologise for my ramblings. Thanks for reading. How'd you get that screenshot for the tap to share button? Or is it a static image aka just a regular button?
Technically you could leave a gap on the Game Over UI, revealing a portion of the screen underneath and have a blank png as a share button... But it won't show the whole screen. I guess it could work if your character doesn't move around the screen too much. You could have where it got game over as the share button. Just a thought.
Clever concept, I thought about the same gameplay but I did not find the right way to execute it. the bouncing ball is a good idea. Good luck
