When animation is set to not loop, it does not play the full animation. The workaround is to increase the frame count in the animation editor testing until the animation completes. I have not tested to see if this is a set number of frames, but typically it's about 5 extra frames.
Thanks for the replies. I know how to "fudge" it, but it would be nice not to have to that. Hi @brakewind723, what do you mean make the frames longer? Jerry, I think it happens on all objects, but I'm not sure about the UI.

Yep, im getting the same thing too. On Character jump animation in BB 2.2.7 What I did was just take my first starting frame copy/paste it and rename it to the last number in the sequence and drag them all into BB
