Hi everyone When submitting our game to apple do we need to submit two separate game files, one for the iPhone and another for iPad? Same for Android, one for phones and another for tablets?
Usually the iOS file you submit through xCode is compitable with both iPhones and iPads, so you'd tweak the game and it's UI according to both of these devices scales. I'm not sure for Android, but it's pretty much the same thing.
Thanks for your reply energizerlithium battery. So I would export two files from buildbox each ones ui separately tweaked for iphone and ipad?
No bud it depends on how different the app is on iPhone vs. iPad. Like most most games, 1 iOS export is enough, you'd just make sure the UI screen arrangement fits properly on both devices. It would take a little testing, but just get the UI, game frame, etc. to fit properly when displayed on both iPhone and iPad. If you have an iPad and an iPhone, just run the game on both devices to see if everything including the UI screen "looks correct". Once you've done that, just upload the iOS export into 1 itunes app profile and submit!
