I want to have the "camera" locked to the player and have levels that if the car jumps higher than the top of the screen the ground would go offscreen until the player lands. Basically looking to have the same kind of behavior as in Ski Safari or Hill Climb racing. Is this possible? Any guidance is appreciated.
Yeah, you should adapt the Game Frame until is really close to your character. That should have the camera follow closely the character movements
Like @Dan F said, You can make that game frame smaller than the collision box on your character too, like microscopic even
