That's what I'm trying to make it work. Do you have experience with it or even a new version that works flawlessly with 2.3.6? Last time I used it was with 2.2.9.
I have not tested this with 2.3.6, last time I used it was with 2.2.9, like yourself. I did use a modified version of this for IOS since that time, don't recall the BB version I was using but I know it was newer than 2.2.9, but as I said I was using the concept for IOS and I modified the code to do my specific needs. I think it should work with 2.3.6, since the hooks are based on using a url button and I don't see any changes to that button in newer versions of BB. Its a very smart way fo doing it since it is using the url button. The only issue using this method is you have to physically make the changes each time before you compile. Hope it works for you.
I got back from Sean and Nik. We actually do have screenOnEnter and screenOnExit now in Android as well. Anyone looking for it, it has to be 2.3.6 and it's in the PTServicesBridge.java

@Andy Is there any chance we can get the "Cancel" option removed from the "not enough currency" alert? It seems untidy to have Cancel AND Ok buttons, when they both just dismiss the alert.
With 2.3.6 I'm also getting audio files become corrupt on Actions after a while. I'm coming to the end of my latest project and several times now, audio files start not playing in preview or on a device, then when I check the file by pressing the triangle play button on the action, it just flashes and plays nothing. I have to delete and reimport the audio again to fix it. My current game has over 160 actions, so repeatedly re-import audio is very tedious
When you use path. its really hard and very random but you can't select object around the path or sometimes even objects that are far from path
Very important please fix: Until 2.3.6 when you have advanced movement timout to 0 and active on Event: Button This action will work only when you hold that button and stop when you release. But now its not working like that
The paths selection area is its entire size, width by height, so any objects under that area are un-selectable when the path is layered above those objects. Instead of locking the path, you can also move the path down to the bottom of the scene's layering and you should be able to select the other objects again. This bug has been reported and looks like it has been fixed in the next release.
@AndyG well definitely there should be 2.3.7 but looking at the 3.0 release it seems to be harder but much needed still
I think they'll release 2.3.7 with nodes feature so we can expect some delay on next update if i am not wrong here
