Unfortunately @Arshpreet I can't take credit for the artwork. I hired a very good artist that I have used before who delivers great work and has a good art style I saw suitable for this game. My artistic skills would just about stretch to making a game like Phases!
I'm toying with the idea of making the blood green. I remember working for a games publisher where these things prevented the release of a game in Germany (for example) so we removed the 'gore'. But - there's not many games with cartoon violence any more and especially with Donald Trump playing the 'hero'. I will probably stick with the blood effects etc but still testing to see. Its a shame Buildbox doesnt have a button to turn this kind of stuff on or off.
I don't think that blood is a problem. The problem in my case was that Apple thought my game was offensive and defamatory. Which somehow it actually is because Trump is as well... But Trump killing zombies should be no problem at all.
Thanks for the insight. I'm avoiding anything to do with Mexico(!) or any slurs etc - just focusing on the story at hand. haha.

Congrats on the professional looking screen shots. I think they look good. I wanted to do a Trump game way before the success of my Bernie Sandwiches game. The issue I ran against was I didn't want Trump doing anything good in the game or doing anything that rewarded his actions. He needed to be the villain otherwise I couldn't get behind it. Also I didn't want guns and a Presidential candidate in the same game. Regardless of how deplorable his actions are, guns and politicians shouldn't mix.
Yeah. That was the dilema of my game as well. Trump as the main character is a conflict even for the player. Trump supporters won't play the game because of the narrative against him. Haters won't like it as much because they don't want to be Trump in the first place. How about a change in the gameplay? Make the zombis the main characters attacking Trump and his security crew. That could work more and sounds fun.
Thanks! Its always a judgement call plus as everyone's aware - there's a ton of Trump games out there already all essentially simple game mechanics and I wanted to do something totally different. This game also does have some comical references and working on a 'LOL' death animation too. Plus, my artist is working on a Hilary character which I may/not use
