What I did 2nd time

1. Drag a png to the world as an action. Set it as Set check point. Need to put Set Points in every scene or where you want user to have checkpoints. Can be in every scene or one time in 10 scenes. Need to collect those as you go, if you pass next without collecting it does not record as valid checkpoint.
2. Drag another image in the world. Set is as Restart checkpoint. This is only to link the Purchase Button, is not used inside the game play as Set Checkpoint is.
3. Added purchase button in UI and set action to restart checkpoint, in game purchase 100 coins for testing purposes. Is working now. I guess I had a bigger number and had no coins available in the game ). It it worked with in game purchases I assume should work with video as well. hopefully.

Yes, had a bigger number and not enough funds in game account I did similar steps except Restart checkpoint action. Figuring these out is a little tricky without any video tutorials/ Glad that are people around who know more than I do. Thanks again! C

Quick question on checkpoint restart. I am having 2 levels and want to restart only in level 1. I have checkpoints in level 1 and not level 2. When I reach level 2 and die if I restart checkpoint it does not load level 1 last set checkpoint that I got but instead is restarting from level 2. Even is set as an action as you helped me out I am using menu jump to go from level 1 from level 2. Do you have any idea why is not working? Or restart checkpoint works only in same level, multiple scenes? eg: set checkpoint on scene 2 and I die in scene 4. Will go back to scene 2.

Hi @Cristian , i don't know exaclty but i think that it is normal. Because start scene of level 2 is like checkpoint. Actually the start scene of every world is like that when you pass to the next level (world) it automatically remember that last time player was in this world.

 

I would like to say that scenes and worlds are different here. Yes, if you will set checkpoint to scene 2 and die in scene 4 and if In game over UI you will click restart checkpoint then you will start from scene 2
