Hi, I am trying to create a level select screen that has a large number of levels. I am struggling to figure out how to create a menu to fit them all in, so I need a screen that allows the player to scroll down to see more levels, and back up to the top as well. I noticed that the color switch level select menu is able to do this, but haven't been able to find instructions on how to do this. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks! Jeff
you cant do that all you can do is to make go and back buttons like pages download the bbdoc from here to understand more https://www.buildbox.com/forum/inde...our-path-game-using-bb-bbdoc.3354/#post-20666
would be good to do. Not sure how too. Color switch is now made using different software, not BB anymore. Maybe you might need to have multiple ui's , and a button at the bottom to go too next ui. Not sure.
Continuous scrolling is not an option in Buildbox. But as said by wesam, [in BB2] you can make buttons to switch between pages (menus) or you could do some forced scrolling by playing with the close and open animation of each menu. If you animate it right it will look like a scrolling from one section of the menu to another. People will think they never left the selection menu.
Thanks for all the input everyone! It is a shame that scrolling is not possible in BB2. I will have to try and use a different method to make it work.
I have put this in the requests thread here: https://www.buildbox.com/forum/index.php?threads/menu-scrolling-and-manual-world-scrolling.5677/ Please vote up and comment on it, and hopefully it will be something that will be added!
