I've seen lots of people playing Color Switch on the subway here in Toronto. No dates out of it though haha.
Lol! You could make a "New" version. Color Switch the social dating app. Compare your highscore with another person and who knows...
@Machine Rises just saw color switch on miniclip! Congrats man things just keep getting better and bigger! Any plans for your new games?
Hey, I saw y'all joking about Color Switch the movie... TETRIS is getting a movie http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2016/...movie-takes-shape-with-80-million-in-funding/ If Tetris can be turned into a movie, I don't see why Color switch can't...
I'm confused... you reached out to a publisher who had literally 0 games under their belt? Or am I missing something? How did you even find them if you were their first game?
Yup I got some new projects in the works It all comes down to making opportunities for yourself by meeting people, helping in the community here, and working hard. Once I started focusing on making friends with other developers and people in this industry and being part of the community here is when I started to see real progress. But you guys put too much focus on how to meet a publisher. You should put most of your focus on becoming skilled game designers and the things I mention above. The publishing deals and what not will come in the right time, but you have to get your skills sharpened first. It just so happened that the timing was right for me after having been in this industry since July of 2013. Everything in life is about timing. So just work on preparing yourself for your own opportunities that will come up at the right time
WTF man... David is the one of the nicest most chill guy you could ever meet/talk with. You have been on this forum for all of two weeks and you think you have someone pegged!? Take a step back.
Yet it doesn't answer the question. That's the corporate handbook response. I've been around a lot longer than 2 weeks. Take a step back. And I'm sure he is a nice guy - he just isn't being helpful to anyone's questions that I've seen.
Good for you @Kory Pearman then you should know you are being disrespectful and negative. How about asking "Hey David what is the real story behind you finding your pub?" not some lame put down. mmm coffee
That wasn't a put down. I asked him once already how he got hooked up with a publisher who had 0 games and he gave me the fluffed answer, so I just gave my opinion. Just like previously in this thread someone asked him about a mechanic in his game and how it's possible and he said, "you'll figure it out!" Seriously? I thought this was supposed to be a helpful community, am I wrong?
This thread has it all man... hooked up with a pub that was connected with a huge subscriber list. Game was originally BB now is made with unity. BTW I hooked him up with the connection lol dun dun dunnnnnn after we became friends
