WIN7/32bit 1. when adding particle effect to an action, the particle layer shows infront of the image, even when its' the lower layer. 2. after the character picked the action, the particle effect stays on screen. 3. setting the animation on an action to character>>"replace" doesn't always replace the animation, sometimes its' shows it as "overlay". 4. the "overlay" animation itself, shows behind the character, instead of in front. 5. loading meter does not shows on Android. 6. camera flash set on lower values (0.1, 0.2 etc.), when activated leaves a white/10% opacity top layer on the screen.
7. 8. if an action animation (with particles) still plays while character collide with menu-jump, BB crashes. 9. 10. frame boundaries don't block character, even tho' set to yellow.
regarding #7, it does not pause gameplay so you can resume in the exact same spot, that is what pause button is for. When jumping from a world if you return to the world you either start over or start from the last checkpoint reached.
I've mentioned it was based on coins collected. but if it shouldn't act that way, then ok... hope all of those small issues of particles/animation infront/behind will be solved in the upcoming build.
The best way to ensure your exact issues are solved would be to send examples to support. I believe most of these are already documented for fixing. But your exact situation could be different in some cases.
9. If the character picks up a powerup that changes the gameplay of the game and then dies while the powerup is still active, then BB crashes. For example, I have it set so the character gains a second jump for 2 seconds by changing the jump counter to 2. If the character dies before the time of the powerup runs out then BB will crash. This happens with any powerup that changes some aspect of the gameplay.
send this info to support@buildbox.com along with the bbdoc you're working on so they can see this bug...
It uses the same z-order used in the editor when you place the action. I think most everything else discussed in here is now fixed in the coming release. I could not duplicate any of the crashes listed here with the latest testing builds.
thanks. notice that it has been added: 10. frame boundaries don't block character, even tho' set to yellow. which is a pretty critical bug...
