Hi guys. I want my character to hold a flashlight in some darker scenes. I`m using the spot light node for this, but is there a way to avoid the light shining through walls etc? If I want it to look like he`s inside a building. I want the light to not shine outside of the building at all. Any tips?
I assume this is currently not possible to achieve in BB, but could it be done with a custom code? If so, I’d be interested
Check that you do not have a gap between the wall and the ground. And check collision shape for both.
Yeah, that is not the issue. You can create a box with correct collision shapes set up, place the spotlight inside the box, and it the light still goes through..
