    Hey,

Is there a way I can link a spawned object to the object it has spawned from?

Hi, I'm not sure if this can be done. If it were possible, it would need to be done with custom JavaScript code.

What do you mean by this? What are you trying to achieve?

If for example I have an object that is a random spawner that object spawns a cube randomly. How would I attach an object to that cube that has been spawned randomly. So I spawn a cube from a spawner, how do I attach another object to that spawned cube.

This is confusing to understand. Do you have an example?

Apologies, I have a cube that spawns a character, I want to be able to spawn a random name label above the characters head each time the character is spawned. But I can't work out how to attach a spawner to an object that is also being spawned.

Oh I see, you want to spawn a random Character with a random name.

Correct yeah, and I need the name to stay above the characters head when it moves

It’s definitely possible, and a pretty cool idea in general. The first step is spawning the character. Inside the character, would need the name template setup with that, you could just use a set of rules to have the name as an object. I am sure there’s an easier way, but I am not on the Laptop at the moment so I’m not sure off the top of my head.

But the basic idea is to have an object (Name) above the character. The rules of the object (Name) could be don’t randomly
