This week’s game spotlight is BlizStudio’s Trixel Rocket. Trixel Rocket is a cool action space adventure that’s been dominating the charts. In over 27 different countries it’s ranked Top 100, and it’s currently listed #24 in the Adventure Games category. Apple has featured the game in the ‘New Games We Love’ category across the globe including countries like the UK, Canada, France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, and Singapore.

Trixel Rocket – A Stunning Space Adventure!
Trixel Rocket is a stunning action space adventure game with a unique trixel art style. Set deep in the cosmos, players must explore a vast and mysterious universe with dangers lurking around every corner. Collect gems and do your best to avoid any obstacles or threats that could potentially take you out.
It’s a fast-paced and exciting game. There’s flying asteroids, bolts of electricity, fireballs, trixelated rubble, and hailing storms that randomly strike. Players are given a vocal warning when things are about to get intense. You have to be ready for just about anything. There are over 30 randomized levels in Trixel Rocket. So, you’re given a different type of challenge every time you play. And the only goal in this one finger game is to survive.
You can also increase your odds and shift things in your favor, with upgrades. Throughout the game, the crystal gems that you collect can be used to unlock some very cool items. There are a dozen stylish ships and special shields for additional protection that you can get. The game also has in-app purchases in the form of gem bundles and shield packages.
From the eye-popping trixel art style graphics to the awesome music and sound effects, Trixel Rocket is definitely worth checking out. If you’re a fan of pixel art and love an excellent space adventure, this game is for you. It’s a truly stunning game that’s as fun as it is challenging! Can you survive?

He also developed Trixel Rocket with his team using our software. Berg’s previous Buildbox hyper-casual game Hexeye Defender won second place in our official Buildbox Game Jam out of 80 submissions.
