It’s spotlight time, and this week’s mobile game pick is Tiny Pixel Dungeon by Hoo Games. Built with Buildbox Classic and no-code, this very fun retro 2D platformer takes players on an epic yet dangerous quest for treasure. Inspired by some of the arcade classics, Tiny Pixel Dungeon features tons of challenging levels and entertaining cutscenes that will have you feeling nostalgic. The game also has a bonus level with the ability to unlock and play four mini-games as well.

Tiny Pixel Dungeon: A 2D Retro Game Must-Play
In Tiny Pixel Dungeon, players become pint-sized commander, Blue Knight, on a quest to collect hidden treasure for the overbearing Black Knight who demands results. You’re accompanied by a unit of fellow knights who aren’t the brightest and must learn the dungeon’s traps over and over. Unfortunately, many of them die as a result of them. So it’s up to you to assist the unit in surviving all of the deadly mystical traps in order to find all of the treasures to please the greedy Black Knight.
The dungeon is crawling with enemies and different traps like concealed spikes and flying arrows or saw blades that you have to avoid. As you progress through the game, you get to explore the dark depths of the dungeon with only a torch to guide you. You’ll also come across members of your crew who need to be rescued. At various points, you’ll be able to fire a cannon to aid in the liberation of other knights.
Dungeon Crawler Madness
There are even challenging underwater levels where you play the entire level in a bubble. It’s loads of fun. Plus, in Tiny Pixel Dungeon, you’ll get to unlock a special mini-games section with four more hard-to-beat zones if you manage to find all the diamonds in the bonus round. There are a total of 48 different levels to challenge players. This game is a must-play, from the incredible 2D pixel art and action-packed gameplay to the awesome uptempo music by sound designer Disko_lips.
