Every week we highlight a new game built with Buildbox from one of the creators in our no-code community. The games we select for our special ‘spotlight’ picks are indie mobile games that have a creative theme, gameplay concept, mechanics or perform well on one of the app store charts.
This week’s game spotlight pick is iBowl 2 by Lemon and Lime Studio. Developed using Buildbox 3, this fun twist on 3D bowling first appeared on Buildbox World as a bit, and is now a full game with over 100 levels available on Google Play.
So, let’s take a closer look at Lemon and Lime Studio’s iBowl 2!
iBowl 2: The New Way to Bowl
iBowl 2 takes the concept of bowling to an entirely new level. Players must drag an adorable cube shooter to aim and fire shots at pins lined both high and low to clear the bowling floor.
Gravity is also subjective in this bowling frenzy. As balls fly upwards, knocking down shelved pins, you earn bonus coins which can be used to unlock new ball sets. There’s a total of six unique sets available.
As you progress further in the game, the pins’ positions get higher and more complex. You’ll have to utilize the various powerups that magically appear in the lanes, like bombs and electricity, to propel your balls and knock down all the pins. There are also obstacles like a spinning saw blade slicing through the lanes that will destroy your balls if your timing is off.
The 3D graphics and lifelike pin motions make you feel like you’re playing a magical version of bowling. Also, the music that plays in the background adds to the authentic bowling alley experience. With over a hundred difficult levels to master, this game is sure to become your new favorite way to bowl.
If you’re a fan of bowling games and enjoy a fun challenge, you’ll love playing iBowl 2.
