The Buildbox community has once again outdone itself!
This time, we embarked on a mission to not only showcase creativity but to also support a noble cause—Cure Leukaemia. Participants were challenged to develop innovative games with the theme of curing leukaemia. They were allowed to use any version of Buildbox and encouraged to share their final entries on the Buildbox World app for everyone to play.
We were blown away by the amazing response! We got a ton of submissions, each one showcasing the incredible dedication and creativity of our talented developers.
In addition to the usual cash prizes, this special game jam included a unique twist: each winner will have a donation made on their behalf to Cure Leukaemia.
Inspired by “Games for Good” by Jude Ower and Mathias Gredal Nørvig, this event aimed to harness the collective creativity of our community of game developers to support a meaningful cause, raising both awareness and funds.
A big thank you to everyone for participating and for your patience while we completed the judging process.
So, let’s get right to it—drumroll, please! 🥁
